A few things that help.

- Empty fuel and water tanks before pickup for weight and safety.
- Secure all loose gear inside the cabin or hatches.
- Cover valuables (electronics, rods) or take them with you.
Straight answers.
How much does it cost to transport a boat in NZ?
Trailer boats start around $250 for short local runs and scale by size, distance and whether it's inter-island. A typical Auckland–Wellington trailer boat is roughly $700–$1,100 door-to-door. Send us dimensions and the two addresses — you'll have a fixed number within the hour.
Can you move a boat between the North and South Island?
Yes — inter-island boat transport is a fixed price that includes the ferry. We handle the booking, the tie-down and the paperwork.
Do you transport launches and boats without trailers?
Yes. We arrange the lift or crane at both ends and move the boat on a purpose-built trailer or low-loader depending on size.
Is my boat insured while you're moving it?
Yes. We carry full commercial cartage liability cover on every load, including boats. Paperwork sent with the quote.
