Yes, we are fully insured. We can forward our certificate of currency to your insurer, finance company or dealership before the job starts — just ask.

Do you operate outside business hours?

We're 24/7, 365 days. Breakdowns, accidents, dealer transfers on deadline, ferry connections that can't slip — if it can't wait, neither do we. The same driver you book is the driver who turns up, even at 2am, and dispatch is on the phone the whole time. After-hours and public holiday rates apply, and we'll always tell you upfront before the truck rolls.

How far ahead do I need to book?

For planned moves, 2–3 days is ideal so we can slot you into the most efficient run and keep the price sharp. For urgent jobs we often turn around same-day within the Bay of Plenty and Auckland metro. Longer runs, South Island deliveries or ferry bookings need a little more lead time — call us and we'll tell you straight what's possible and what it'll cost.

Can you move boats and caravans?

Absolutely. We run specialised rigs for boat transport (trailer boats up to 8m, larger by arrangement) and caravan relocation — single units or dealer stock balances. We handle over-dimension permits, pilot/escort vehicles, ferry bookings and any council notifications as part of the quote, so you get one price and one point of contact from pickup to delivery.

Do you do inter-island transport?

Yes — regular sailings between Wellington and Picton, with South Island delivery as far south as Invercargill and Bluff. We coordinate the ferry, the permits, the tie-downs and the unloading so you deal with one contact from start to finish. Bookings are tighter over summer and around public holidays, so the earlier you let us know, the better the sailing we can lock in.

What areas do you cover?

Nationwide — North and South Island, coast to coast. We're based in Tauranga with daily runs through Auckland, Hamilton, Rotorua, Taupō and Wellington, and regular trips into the South Island. Remote, rural or off-the-beaten-track jobs are no problem; we just need the right notice to schedule the right gear (4WD recovery, low-loader, crane truck) and confirm access for the driver.

Can I track my vehicle during transport?

All our trucks are GPS-tracked. We don't run a public portal — we'd rather you talk to a human — but we update you proactively at the key points: loaded, departed, ferry crossed, arriving, delivered. If you want a location check at any time of the day or night, ring dispatch and we'll know exactly where your gear is, who's driving it, and when it'll arrive.

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

Bank transfer, credit card (Visa/Mastercard) or cash on delivery. For regular commercial clients, dealerships, fleets and government accounts we can set up 7- or 20-day terms with monthly invoicing and consolidated statements. We don't start the job until payment, deposit or a confirmed PO is in place — it's the only way we can guarantee the slot, the driver and the price.

Do you handle commercial fleet relocations?

Fleet moves are a core part of what we do — dealership stock balances, rental fleet swaps, lease returns, end-of-lease grading, auction collections and government tender work. We can run multiple units simultaneously with full compliance documentation, condition reports with photos, signed POD on delivery and consolidated billing across the whole movement.

What happens if something is damaged?

Every vehicle and load is photographed before loading and after unloading, with a signed condition report at both ends. In the rare event of damage in transit we'll let you know immediately, document it and work through it with you and your insurer. We are fully insured and can provide a certificate of currency if required.

Do you do emergency towing and recovery?

Accepted Answer

Yes — breakdowns, accident recovery, lockouts, jump-starts and roadside assistance across the Bay of Plenty. Average response is under 60 minutes in the Tauranga region. We can recover cars, utes, vans, light trucks, motorhomes and trailers, and we work directly with most insurers and finance companies so you're not chasing paperwork at the side of the road.
