Insurance vehicle recovery
and transport.
Haul Haus works direct with New Zealand's major insurance companies, loss adjusters and panel shops. Accident recovery, storm-event uplifts, total-loss salvage, repairer-to-repairer transfers — dispatched fast, documented properly, direct-billed to the insurer.
End-to-end, one contact.
Accident recovery
24/7 dispatch to accident scenes across NZ. Scene made safe, photographed, uplifted, delivered.
Total-loss salvage
Assessed write-offs collected from repairers, storage yards or customer homes and delivered to salvage.
Repairer transfers
Move jobs between panel shops, specialists (EV, structural, paint) and back to the customer.
Storm & event surge
Extra capacity when hail, flood or storm events spike claim volumes.
Long-distance transport
Nationwide door-to-door — inter-island included as a single fixed price.
Storage & holding
Secure holding for claims in dispute or awaiting parts.
Built for volume,
priced for it too.
Direct billing
We invoice the insurer, not the policyholder. Clean paperwork, itemised jobs, ready for audit.
SLA response
Metro response under 60 minutes. Regional response times documented and reported.
Full documentation
Time-stamped photos, condition report, chain-of-custody sign-off on every job.
Approved panel network
Established relationships with major panel shops and specialists across NZ.
Storm-event capacity
Surge capacity when weather events break — we scale trucks and dispatch, not response times.
Single point of contact
Named account manager who knows your claims process and repairer network.
We handle claim volumes from single accidents through to storm-event surge, coordinated across our Bay of Plenty base and partner network nationwide. All jobs GPS-tracked, all handovers photo-documented.
Answers, no jargon.
Are you on the panel for major NZ insurers?
Yes — we work direct with AA, State, Tower, AMI, Vero and the IAG group, plus FMG for rural and fleet. New insurer onboarding takes about a week — send us your rate schedule and job dispatch process.
How fast can you respond to a claim?
Under 60 minutes in the Tauranga/Bay of Plenty metro. Nationwide via our partner network with agreed regional SLAs — usually 90 minutes metro, up to 4 hours rural.
Do you handle total-loss salvage transport?
Yes. Once an assessor writes the vehicle off, we collect from the repairer, customer or storage yard and deliver to the nominated salvage yard, direct-billed to the insurer.
Can you scale for storm and hail events?
Yes. Storm-event dispatch runs a separate queue with dedicated trucks so single-claim response times don't blow out.
How do you handle documentation?
Every job carries time-stamped photos (pre-load, post-load, on-delivery), a signed condition report and GPS log. Full pack goes to the insurer with the invoice.
